Collect field data where there is no signal at all
PowerMaps lets you design exactly what your team records, hands that form to an Android app that works entirely offline, and brings every asset, line, area, photo and GPS reading back to a live map the moment a connection returns.
- Works with no connectivity — sign in once and the whole project travels with you
- Points, lines and areas — walk a feeder or gas main and drop a vertex at every pole
- Averaged phone GPS with a confidence score, or centimetre-level RTK from an external receiver
Sign in once.
Then forget the network exists.
Most field tools collapse the moment the bars disappear — they need a live connection just to know what to ask you. PowerMaps doesn't. When you sign in, the app pulls down your project's entire data definition and keeps it on the device. From that point on, every category, every custom field and every validation rule is available with the radio off.

01
Sign in once
Signing in is optional — you can collect basic fields without it. Sign in and the app fetches your project's categories, custom fields, status options and labels, and stores them on the device.
Schema cached -
02
Drive out of coverage
No connection needed. The form you see in the bush is the exact form your manager designed in the browser that morning.
No signal · form ready -
03
Collect all day
Points, whole lines, areas, photos and averaged GPS fixes are written straight to the device and queued. Nothing is lost if the battery dies.
24 points queued -

Sync when you're back
One tap uploads everything and it appears on the web map instantly — attributed, timestamped and ready to review.
Synced to map
A change a project manager makes on the web — a new category, an extra required field — reaches every device the next time it has a moment of signal. No app update, no reinstall, no re-training. The schema is data, not code.
Map the whole line,
not just the pole.
Every category is now a point, a line or an area. Walk a feeder, a gas main, a fibre route or a parcel boundary with no signal at all — then, back at the office, trace the network, route along it and find the valves that isolate a leak.
-
Add vertex here Stand at each pole, bend or tee and tap. Every vertex is averaged like a point, and you set the accuracy it must meet — down to ±5 cm with RTK.
-
Record while walking On long routes the app drops a vertex every 2 to 50 metres as you walk, and keeps the screen on until you tap Stop.
-
Branches join themselves Start a branch at the pole or tee where it leaves the main. Line ends within 3 m become one network; lines that merely cross never do.
Trace
Click any line or asset to light up everything connected to it. Closed valves and open switches stop the trace, just as they would on the ground.
Isolate
Click the damaged main or the leak. PowerMaps finds the smallest section that can be shut off and lists exactly which valves or switches to operate.
Route
The shortest path along the network between two assets — the cable run between substations, or the pipe from a station to a customer.
Nearby & inside an area
Everything within a set distance of a point, a line’s corridor or an area — or every customer inside a supply zone.
Data-quality check
Line ends that connect to nothing (and how far they are from the nearest line), duplicate points, overlapping areas and low-accuracy records.
Networks, lengths & areas
How many separate networks a project really has — one per feeder is healthy, dozens mean gaps — with total length and area per category.
Survey-grade when the job needs it
Pair an external GNSS receiver over Bluetooth on Android — or over USB or Bluetooth serial in Chrome or Edge on the web — and connect RTK corrections from the services that cover your country. PowerMaps uses the best fix available and records how it was obtained on every point and every vertex: fix quality, satellites, HDOP and sample count.

Watch a power line and a gas main get mapped
A three-and-a-half-minute walkthrough of the Android app and the web map — from choosing Line, to a vertex at every pole, to the two valves that isolate a leak.
Everything a field programme
actually needs
Built from real field constraints — bad signal, mixed devices, rotating crews and data that has to stand up to an audit.
Design your own data model
Define the categories you collect — each one a point, a line or an area — and the fields on each: text, number, dropdown, date, checkbox, URL or email, with units, placeholders and required rules. No developer needed.
GPS you can defend
Every point and every vertex takes multiple satellite samples, averages them and scores the result for confidence — so you know which readings are solid before you leave site. Pair an external GNSS receiver and stream RTK corrections when you need centimetres.
Photographic evidence
Capture a photo with every point. Images are rotated correctly, compressed for slow connections, stored as files rather than bloating the database, and served only to people with access.
Four real project roles
Owner, manager, collaborator and viewer — enforced on the server, not just hidden in the interface. Change someone's role and their access changes on their very next action.
Live map and analytics
Watch points, lines and areas land on a street or satellite map, filter by category and status, and read collection trends, status breakdowns and category mixes without exporting anything.
Start from 14 templates
Power, gas, telecom & fibre, water, roads, land parcels, mini-grids, EV charging, metering, inspection and more — or a blank canvas. Every category and field stays editable.
Invite by email
Send an invitation to anyone. If they don't have an account, it's created when they accept — and they're placed on the right project with the right role automatically.
Keep the crew aligned
Post project announcements your whole team sees, with in-app notifications for invitations, role changes and updates — so field crews aren't working from yesterday's brief.
Region & district, automatically
Every record is tagged with its region, district and town from its coordinates — on the server, so a point captured offline and synced days later gets the same names you filter and group by.
Collect from the web, too
The browser Collect page captures points, lines and areas as well — add vertices, record while walking or draw on the map, and connect a GNSS receiver in Chrome or Edge.
Report a problem from any screen
A report button sits on every screen of the Android app and the web. Pick what kind of problem it is, say what happened, attach a screenshot and send — straight to our team.
Export that includes the photos — and the geometry
Download CSV or Excel with every custom field as its own column, or GeoJSON that keeps real line and area geometry for QGIS and ArcGIS. Tick one box to get every site photograph bundled as a ZIP, named to match each record.
Give people exactly the access they need
Roles are per project, not per account. The same person can manage one programme, collect for another and simply observe a third — and PowerMaps keeps all three straight.
- Collectors see only the points they gathered — teammates' data stays private
- Enforced in the API, so restrictions can't be bypassed from the browser
- Promote someone to manager and their access updates instantly — no sign-out

Ideal for funders, auditors and regional supervisors who need visibility without edit rights.
See the whole programme at a glance
Field data is only useful when someone can read it. Every point lands on a shared map with its category, status, photographs, custom field values and the name of whoever collected it.
- Filter the map by category and status to isolate what matters
- Collection timeline, status breakdown and category mix, charted automatically
- Open any point for its full record, including full-size site photographs
Ready for your sector on day one
Fourteen templates with categories and fields drawn from real programmes — the networks ones already split into points, lines and areas. Edit any of them, or start blank.
Power distribution
Trace MV and LV feeders pole by pole, with the transformers, substations, switches and meters on the line.
Gas pipelines New
Transmission pipelines, distribution mains and service lines, with valves, regulators and leaks — ready for valve isolation.
Telecom & fibre New
Aerial and underground fibre routes, ducts, poles, manholes, splice closures, cabinets and serving areas.
Water & sanitation

Trusted by teams working off the grid
"PowerMaps cut our substation inventory time by 70%. Capturing photos with precise GPS coordinates has been a game-changer for our maintenance teams."
"Our surveyors work in areas with no coverage for days. Being able to define our own fields and still collect offline is exactly what nothing else offered."
"Giving funders a viewer login instead of emailing spreadsheets around changed how we report. They see the map, we keep control of the data."
Put a real form in your field team's hands
Create a project, define what you collect — points, lines or areas — and invite your crew. It takes a few minutes, and it works the first time they lose signal.
